Hey guys, I'm back. I've been given the pen for the episode Mucking About. So, here goes!
Man oh man, do I love the pack! They're some of the best characters in the show; even the creators wanted to see more of them! The thing is, Max and Monty were my favourite characters and this episode is based on these characters. Mucking About is yet another Davey Moore episode, and I must say, its a very interesting one.
The episode is about Max and Monty mucking about...as the title explains. But their shenanigans get out of hand when they accidentally break Oliver's arm and derail Thomas. That sort of plot couldn't have even been executed so well even by Bob the Builder! That's what makes the episode so good. It establishes a plot not normally able to be a good one.
I have to say, Max and Monty's theme is outstanding; even for Renshaw. Plus, Monty's voice is hilarious. I never expected one character to have an Italian American accent; not even Gina from The Great Race. And the animation is so good, half the time it looks difficult to Arc's usual kind.
So all in all, Mucking About is my new favorite episode with a definite 5/5. And I started the season thinking Toby's New Friend couldn't be beaten.
